The Programme
Our aim is to provide artists with the skills, knowledge and resources to maintain a fulfilling, sustainable and independent career in the music industry.
There are three strands within the Tinderbox programme, each one tailored to fit our artists’ individual goals and ambitions.
Here is a little more information about the Tinderbox programme, and what you can expect if you are selected as one of our artists.
Artist Development
Each candidate will receive artist development guidance from a music industry professional, including:
Advice on how to develop your artist proposition and story, including image and branding
Market research into target audience and competition, and how to use this information
Advice on how to market your music and promote your brand through the various tools at your disposal
Professional bespoke guidance on strategy and planning tailored to your aims and ambitions as an artist
Production
Each candidate will work closely with an established producer to record a body of work, focusing on all areas of record creation. Artists and bands can expect:
Access to a unique, top level studio working with an established producer
Pre-production and song exploration sessions where you are encouraged to experiment
To record a body of high quality work, of which you will retain 100% of all copyrights
Fundraising
Each candidate will work with an experienced arts fundraiser with the aim of securing funding to promote your release and develop as an artist. Artists will receive:
A detailed overview of all funding and revenue streams available to you
Professional guidance developing a project with budgeting and timeline
